Tim Ouwejan is currently pursuing his bachelor degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Pierre Volders, Remko de Jager and Jörgen van Rijen. He attended masterclasses by Ian Bousfield, Daniele Morandini, Sebastiaan Kemner, Bart van Lier, James Markey, Christian Jones, Adam Woolf and Tomer Maschkowski. He co-founded the Nymphéas Trombone Quartet.

As an orchestral musician Ouwejan has been active in the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, and the brass ensembles of the Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands. As a soloist, he premiered Joop van Dijk’s Parade for trombone and brass band in 2019.

Ouwejan won multiple prizes, including first prize at the International Competition "Citta di Porcia" in 2023, first prize at the Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition in 2024, first prize at the 2021 Getzen Ian Bousfield Solo Competition, the International Trombone Festival, and the Princess Christina Concours, third prize at the Prague Spring International Music Competition in 2023, first prize at the Jeju International Brass Competition in 2021. He earned several awards at Classic Young Masters.
