Violin: Hugo Meder

Piano: Virgile Roche

Hugo Meder (violin) and Virgile Roche (piano) met for the first time in 2016, in the CNSMDP. Both passionated by chamber music, they developed quickly an exceptional complicity on stage.They had the chance to work with Alexis Galpérine, Emmanuel Strosser, Claire Désert and Jonas Vitaud but also during masterclasses with the Modigliani & Ébène Quartets, and with the Wanderer Trio. Within the Trio Pantoum which they created, Hugo and Virgile played in the Philharmonie de Paris and the Trondheim Frimurerlogen, and during la Roque d'Anthéron International Piano Festival.

 

Hugo Meder

Hugo Meder studies at CNSMDP since 2016 with Alexis Galpérine. He played as a soloist some major violin concertos (Bach, Beethoven, Lalo, Sibelius...). He played in the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the philharmonie de Paris, the Arsenal of Metz and the Elbphilharmonie of Hambourg. His violin is a Gand & Bernardel, 1885.

 

Virgile Roche

Born in 1998 in Auvergne, Virgile Roche studies at CNSMDP since 2016 with Emmanuel Strosser then Marie-Josèphe Jude. Major prize of several international competitions, he is also a laureate of the Royaumont Foundation. In 2019, he played in the Philharmonie de Paris and during la Roque d'Anthéron International Piano Festival.
