Jonas Stark

Jonas Stark, has performed extensively through all major German cities, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, the United Kingdom and Australia. As a soloist, he played with the Junges Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Heidelberger Philharmoniker, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie and the Duisburger Philharmoniker.

At the national as well as the international level, Jonas was distinguished in numerous competitions, including prizes at „Concours Musical de France“ in Paris in 2009, International Rachmaninov Piano Competition in Frankfurt 2010, International Piano Competition Ettlingen, „Nachwuchswettbewerb für junge Pianisten“ in Trier, Euregio International Piano Award and International Piano Competition FLAME 2017 in Paris. In 2021, he became Young Steinway Artist and won 3rd prize at the International Schubert Competition Dortmund.

Alongside his studies, Jonas has attended masterclasses by Konrad Elser, Dimitri Bashkirov, Robert McDonald, John Perry, Christopher Elton, Dimitri Alexeev, Martin Helmchen, Arie Vardi and Janina Fialkowska.

Jonas Stark started piano lessons with Jelena Semenenko, finished his Bachelor with Professor Thomas Duis in Germany and studied Master and Professional Diploma with Professor Ian Fountain at the Royal Academy of Music, London. He now studies in Hanover with Roland Krüger.
