In May 2023, the quartet won second prize and the Ambassador Prize in the String Quartet Section of the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition 2023; in 2006, the quartet was formed while all members were students at Tokyo University of the Arts, and in the first six months of its existence won third prize and the Haydn Prize at the 4th Munetsugu Hall String Quartet Competition. In 2007, they won first prize in the String Quartet Section of the 8th Akiyoshidai Music Competition. Participated in Project Q, Chapter 19; scholarship from the Matsuo Foundation for the Promotion of Science in 2008. Studied under Nobuko Yamazaki, Katsuya Matsubara and Toshihiko Ichitsubo.
