Born into a family of musicians, Ausiàs Parejo began playing the guitar at the age of 4 at the hands of his father, renowned guitarist Rubén Parejo. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at the Joaquin Rodrigo Conservatory of Music in Valencia.
At just 19 years old, he has won 39 First Prizes in national and international competitions and has been invited to prestigious guitar festivals in Italy, Croatia, Portugal, Japan, United States of America, Mexico, France, Czech Republic and Spain. In 2018 he recorded his first CD "Con tanta tenerezza". In 2023 he recorded his solo CD “Spani and Latin American Music for guitar” for Naxos. Ausiàs has performed as a soloist with the Orquestra de València, Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga, Orquesta Classica Città d’Alessandria, Jove Orquestra de la GVA, soloists NHK Symphony Orchestra of Tokyo,... under the baton of Cristóbal Soler, Vicent Pelechano, Pablo Rus and Pablo Marqués among others. He has had works dedicated to him by composers E. Morales-Caso, E.Sanz-Burguete, and J. Erena.
Amongs the main awards are the First Prizes at the XV Alhambra International Guitar Competition CIGA2022, 67thTokyo International Guitar Competition, 41st Spain Guitar Music Competition in Japan, the 102nd Juventudes Musicales of Spain competition, III Certamen Solistas de la GVA, III Guitarras Esteve-Villa de Alboraia Competition and the Second Prizes at “Michele Pittaluga”- Alessandria and “Andrés Segovia” Competitions, best Spanish performer born at the C.V.in the “Certamen Fco. Tárrega de Benicàssim.
Recently he has been awarded the Musical Talent Prize handed over by the President of the Valencian Community and also the Lions Club recognition in Porec-Croatia. In his training, he has been influenced by teachers such as Tomás Gilabert and Joaquín Clerc Additionally, he has received master classes from D. Russell, P. Mateo, R. Gallén, M. Tamayo, Pepe Romero, and D. Azabagic, among others
He reflects a unique musical personality in concert, performing with a virtuosity and sensitive that does not leave anyone indifferent. Ausiàs’ way of interpreting is rich in nuances: virtuous, mature, brilliant and entertaining. The way he alternates between great technique and delicate passages makes his performances really amazing; a performing carefully nurtured by a long line of noble Valencian guitarists.
