Saint-Maurice - International Organ Competition of Saint-Maurice d'Agaune

The International Organ Competition is held in memory of the distinguished Swiss organist Georges Cramer (1909-1981): through his outstanding teaching he handed down all the richness of both French and German traditions.

The Competition was founded by chanoine Georges Athanasiadès, former organist of the basilica of Saint-Maurice and former director of this competition and has taken place in Sion and at Saint-Maurice's Abbey, Switzerland.

On Sunday, August 10, the final round at the Basilica of Saint-Maurice crowned the 2025 winners, after performances that were applauded by an enthusiastic audience and close deliberations.

1st Prize and audience Prize went to Samuel Guiddy (Sydney), 2nd Prize to Bertalan Ablongzy (Debrecen) and 3rd Prize to Thomas Ingui (New Haven, CT).
