Zhilin Chen

Chen Zhilin, born in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. In 2014, he was admitted to the second year of junior high school at Gulangyu Piano School of the Central Conservatory of Music and became a disciple of professor Zhu Xianjie. In 2019, he was admitted to the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music for an undergraduate degree and became a disciple of professor You Xi. In 2023, he was recommended as a postgraduate in the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music.

Awards received: First prize in the youth group of Ukraine SUMY International Piano Competition（2017), First prize in the performer group of the Philadelphia Piano Master Music Festival （2018）, First prize in the youth open group of the 7th Lanzhou International Piano Competition （2021）, Third prize in the 17th “College Cup” of the Central Conservatory of Music （2021）, Champion of the professional youth group at the Blüthner International Music Festival and the 3rd Lonnisch International Piano Competition in Germany （2022）, First prize in the professional youth group as well as the Best Performance Award for piano works with Dali as the theme in the Dali Piano Art Festival and the Second National Piano Competition （2023）, First prize in the professional youth group of the 5th SEILER&SAMICK Youth Piano Competition （2023）, First prize in the professional youth group in the 6th Steinberg National Youth Piano Competition（2023）. He won the Third prize in the International Piano Competition Spanish Composers in Las Rozas de Madrid in 2024.
