Prize-winner at the Ningbo International Vocal Competition (China, 2023; 2nd prize) , Prize-winner at the 4th Pavel Lisitsian International Vocal Competition (Vladikavkaz, 2016; 3rd prize in the opera category and 1st prize in the chamber category) , Prize-winner at the 2nd International Competition of Young Opera Singers Opera Without Borders (Krasnodar, 2015; 2nd prize) , Prize-winner at the 3rd and 4th All-Ukraine Oxana Petrusenko vocalists’ competitions (Kherson, 2008 and 2009; 1st prize)

Yulia Suleimanova was born in Kherson. Graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Nina Arsentieva).  At the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the St Petersburg Conservatory she performed the roles of Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice) and Marfa (The Tsar’s Bride). 
In summer 2018 she made her Salzburg Festival debut as Chloe/Prilepa in a new production of The Queen of Spades (conducted by Mariss Jansons). 
From 2014 to 2023 the artist was a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers, where she improved her skills under the guidance of Grayr Khanedanian. Made her debut at the Mariinsky Theatre in 2016, appearing in The Boy Giant
Since February 2023 Yulia Suleimanova has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Opera Company.
