Yifan Wu

Born into a non-musical family, Yifan Wu began his professional study of piano at the age of 14 and entered the Music Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2019.

Yifan Wu has left his musical mark in many concert halls after winning the 1st prize in the Singapore International Piano Competition and 5th prize in the Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition. Subsequently, he began giving recitals in China and other countries. His concerto performances with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra and Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra were very well received by the audience. In 2024, he attended the Piano Summer organized by pianist Vladimir Feltsman. On this occasion, he was awarded 1st prize in the Jacob Flier International Piano Competition and was invited by the Feltsman Piano Foundation to make his Carnegie Weill Hall debut in March 2025. Yifan Wu is a Steinway Artist.

Besides piano playing, he is also a keen lover of contemporary art forms such as photography, winning several international awards and titles like the 2022 Architecture Photographer of the Year in the International Photography Awards. His works have been exhibited in New York, Shanghai, and Budapest.
