Vladimir Skomorokhov

Vladimir Skomorokhov was born in 1999 in Volgograd. From 2013 to 2016 he studied at the Tchaikovsky Academic Music College at the Moscow State Conservatory. He graduated with distinction one year ahead of schedule. Vladimir studied at once in two classes. He was a student in the piano class of Yuri Slesarev (a People’s Artist of Russia) and in the organ class of Galina Semenova. From 2016 to 2021 he studied at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. At the moment, Vladimir is continuing education as a postgraduate student in the same two classes (piano and organ). The piano class is taught by ElisoVirsaladze (a People’s Artist of the USSR) and the organ class is taught by Natalia Gureeva (an Honored Artist of Russia). Also from 2021, he is studying for a master's degree at the Higher School of Music in Lubeсk (Germany).

Vladimir is a winner of many international competitions. i.a. In 2014 he received the 1st prize of the 8th International Tchaikovsky Youth Competition, in 2015 the 1st prize of the 10th Karamanov International Pianist Competition in Simferopol and in 2017 the audience prize at the PIANALE Int. Academy and Competition in Fulda/Germany.
