Vladimir Petrov is a graduate of the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory studying under Prof. Valery Piassetsky, Honoured Artist of Russia, and the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory under Prof. Eliso Virsaladze, People's Artist of Russia. He is currently studying at the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar under Prof. Grigory Gruzman. Vladimir Petrov is a first prize winner of the V Lotar-Shevchenko international Piano Competition, Russia; first prize winner of the “Ciudad de Vigo” international piano competition, Spain; first prize winner of the VI international piano competition “José Jacinto Cuevas” (Yamaha), Mexico; first prize winner of the 2019 NTD International Piano Competition, New York (USA). He has collaborated with such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Lanfranco Marceletti, Tito Muñoz, Roman Revueltas, and great violinists such as Kristof Barati and Graf Mourzha.
