Trio E.T.A. receives artistic impulses from Dirk Mommertz, Eberhard Feltz, Angelika Merkle, Priya Mitchell, Christine Busch, Martin Funda, Hyung-ki Joo, and Reto Bieri.
In May 2026, Trio E.T.A. was awarded both First Prize and the Hitzacker Debut Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Osaka, Japan. In 2027, the ensemble will return to Japan for a ten-concert Grand Prix Tour. The ensemble was also selected as a Britten Pears Young Artist for the 2026/2027 season in England. Trio E.T.A. is furthermore a prizewinner of the International Music Competition Vienna and the German Music Competition. Since 2023, the trio has been part of SWR2’s prestigious three-year young artists programme. The ensemble is currently supported by the German Orchestra Foundation through its #MusikerZukunft programme. Cellist Nadja Reich performs on a 1745 Testore cello, generously loaned by the Hoenes Foundation – Museum Villa Rot.
Trio E.T.A. regularly performs at major concert venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Konzerthaus Berlin, London’s Wigmore Hall, and the Liederhalle Stuttgart. The ensemble has also appeared at renowned festivals including the Rheingau Music Festival, the Oberstdorf Music Summer, and the Schwetzingen Festival. In addition, the trio performed Beethoven’s Triple Concerto together with the Baden-Baden Symphony Orchestra at the Weilburg Palace Concerts.
