Sara Dragan is an internationally acclaimed concert violinist, recognized as one of the finest of her generation. A protégé of the legendary Professor Zakhar Bron, she studied with him at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid. She currently performs on a G.B. Born into a musical family, Sara began playing the violin at the age of seven under the guidance of her parents, Konrad and Alicja Dragan. She quickly emerged as a prodigious talent, making her orchestral debut just six months later. By the age of 12, she was already performing Niccolò Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 and Franz Waxman’s Carmen Fantasie with the Opole Philharmonic Orchestra. At 15, she made her Carnegie Hall debut, performing Henryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 1 and The Last Rose of Summer by Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst.

Sara has won over 60 international violin competitions, including the Princess Astrid, Oistrakh, Novosibirsk, Telemann, Wieniawski and Lipinski competitions. She has performed as a soloist in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Konzerthaus Berlin, Rachmaninoff Concert Hall in Moscow, and the Polish Royal Palace in Warsaw. She has toured extensively across Europe, Asia, and the United States, captivating audiences with her technical brilliance and deep musicality.

Her collaborations with renowned orchestras include the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Armenian State Symphony, Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Royal Chamber Orchestra, Martinu Philharmonic, Slovak Sinfonietta, and the The Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic, among many others. In 2022, she embarked on a 31-concert U.S. tour managed by CAMI Music, performing Tchaikovsky and Wieniawski violin concertos under the baton of Maestro Wojciech Rodek.

An enthusiastic interpreter of 20th-century music, Sara’s repertoire spans from baroque to contemporary works. In 2021, she released her debut album featuring works by Sergei Prokofiev and Jenő Hubay, recorded with pianist Roustem Saitkoulov on a Golden Period Stradivarius from FLFV. In 2023 she recorded her latest album - the full works of L.Godowsky for violin and piano, in collaboration with pianist Kenny Broberg for DUX recording producers.

Sara Dragan has also been a featured artist at prestigious festivals worldwide, including the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Interlaken Classics, and the Henryk Wieniawski Festival.
