Raphaël Horrach was born in Ajaccio in 2001.
In 2016, he won First Prize in the Adolph Herseth International Competition.
In 2018, he won a Prize at the Starovetsky International Competition in Kiev. He is a finalist in season 5 of the TV show PRODIGES, in which he is the first trumpeter to take part.
In summer 2019, Raphaël was the principal trumpet of the Verbier Festival Youth Orchestra.
In 2020, he won the Concours national de Lormont with a unanimous First Prize from the jury and the Audience Prize. He also won the Isle sur la Sorgue competition in 2021. In January 2022, he won First Prize at the Roger Voisin International Competition in Miami. In November 2022, he won the prestigious Maurice André International Competition. In 2024, he won the 1st prize at the International Competition "Città di Porcia".
Raphaël also takes part in masterclasses with top trumpet players: Håkan Hardenberger, Ibrahim Maalouf, Giuliano Sommerhalder, Gabor Tarkovi.
