Philipp Lynov was born in Russia in 1999 and began studying the piano at the age of six. In 2017, he graduated with honors from the Central Music School of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, having studied piano under Natalya Bogdanova. He is currently furthering his studies there with Professor Eliso Virsaladze. 

He has participated in masterclasses with Dmitri Alexeev, Hyoung-Joon Chang, Mikhail Voskresensky, Alexander Kobrin and Uta Weyand. He is also a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and regularly takes part in the intensive weeks and activities that take place there. 

Philipp is a prize winner of various international piano competitions, including the 1st prize at the “III International Neuhaus Piano Competition” (Russia), the 1st prize at the “IV International Competition Astana Piano Passion” (Kazakhstan), the 1st prize at the “II International Piano Competition Villa de Xabia” (Spain) and the Gold Medal of the “XIV Youth Delphic Games of Russia”, among others. In 2019, he won the 1st prize at the “XI Paderewski International Piano Competition” in Bydgoszcz, Poland as well as several prizes, including price for the best performance of a commissioned piece.
