Mariamna Sherling was born in 2001 to a family of professional musicians. In 2009 she was admitted to the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music, and since 2019 she studies at the Moscow State Conservatory P. I. Tchaikovsky with Natalia Trull. Mariamna has been awarded with the first prize in several international competitions, namely the 10th Competition Young Virtuosos (2014, Sofia, Bulgaria); Second George Gershwin Competition (2015, New York, USA) and the Alexander Scriabin Competition (2020, Grosseto, Italy), where she also received the prize for the best performance; in 2021 she received the highest prize at both the Lyon Competition in France and at the Carl Maria von Weber Competition in Dresden, Germany and, most recently, she was the third prize winner at the Hastings Competition in the United Kingdom (2022). She has also performed solo and with symphony orchestras in countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Germany, USA and others.
