Malion Quartett

At a time when young string quartets are springing up in large numbers, the Malion Quartet occupies a special position" -  with these words, the legendary pianist Alfred Brendel describes the Malion Quartet, founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2018, which today is one of the most versatile formations on the international music scene. Within a very short time, the ensemble has won prizes and awards at renowned competitions such as the German Music Competition, the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition, and the Irene Steels-Wilsing Foundation International String Quartet Competition. Since then, in addition to its international concert activities, it has also pursued a special vision of music education.
