Lina Nakano

In 2021, she won the first prize in the violin section of the 90th the Music Competition of Japan. In 2014, she won the first prize in the primary schools section of the 68th All Japan Student Music Competition in Tokyo and the Umeko Tsuda Memorial Music Prize. In 2015, she won the first prize in Category A and the Grand Prix at the Artur Gourmiot International Competition for Young Violinists 2015 (Namur, Belgium). International Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria; studied with Paul Roczek; in 2018, first prize in the junior high school section of the 72nd All Japan Student Music Competition, Usatsuka Prize, Togi Prize, Kanpo Life Insurance Encouragement Prize, Suntory Art Foundation Special Prize for Famous Instruments. In 2019, she won the first prize in Category B at the 3rd Mozart Competition for Young Musicians (Zhuhai, China). In addition, she was awarded the Young Jury Special Prize. Currently studying under Akiko Tatsumi at the Music Department of Toho Girls' High School.
