Kaoru Amano

Born in 2013 in Tokyo, Japan. Studied under the late Akiko Sugitani and Chika Matsushima.
In May 2023, held “Kaoru Amano – 9-Year-Old Debut Piano Recital” at Sumida Triphony Hall. Since then, has been actively performing, with concerts in the greater Tokyo area in April, July, October, and December 2024, and March and May 2025.

She won the third Prize, Piano Division, 9th Sendai International Music Competition in 2025, Bronze Prize, Pre-Special Grade, 48th PTNA Piano Competition in 2024, Grand Prix & Sunphonix Award, Jazz Division, 2nd Japan Jazz Pop Piano Competition in 2023, Grand Prix & Akiko Sugitani Award, 13th European International Piano Competition in Japan; First Grade Award, Junior Division, 6th Manhattan Music Competition in 2022, Overall Grand Prix, 4th Romania International Junior Music Competition, among many other awards in 2021.
