A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon, Iris Daverio was appointed principal solo flute of the Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Paris under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel in January 2023.

After studying with Frédéric Chatoux at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, Iris Daverio was admitted first-ranked to the CNSMD de Lyon in 2019. There she studied for five years in the class of Julien Beaudiment, Emmanuelle Réville, and Gilles Cottin, in a Bachelor's degree program followed by a Master's, and notably participated in the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester for several projects as solo flute.

Alongside her career as an orchestral musician, Iris Daverio performs on the French festival scene and internationally, as a soloist and in chamber music. Since 2024, she has made her solo debut in prestigious venues in Paris, Japan, Italy, Montenegro, and Kosovo.

Named Talent Adami Classique 2025, her very first album will be released on the Oktav Records label in spring 2026.

Iris is founder and artistic director of the festival Cadences Libres, dedicated to the arts of opera, whose very first edition will take place on February 14, 2026.
