Born in 2001, Giuseppe Gibboni is currently attending the penultimate course of violin at the “G. Martucci” conservatory in Salerno under the guidance of Prof. M. Aiello. In October 2015 he was admitted to the "W. Stauffer" Academy in Cremona in Prof. S. Accardo’s class. Since 2016 he attends the advanced specialization violin course at the Academy "L. Perosi" of Biella in Prof. P. Berman’s class. He has participated in various national and international competitions such as "Valsesia Musica", "Crescendo Città di Firenze", "P. Mandanici" in Messina and "Euterpe" in Bari, always winning the first prize. Giuseppe has performed as a soloist at several prestigious concert halls and theatres and he participated in Italian national television programs: “Italy's Got Talent” (reaching the final); “I fatti tuoi”; “Mattina in famiglia”, during the context called "Challenge between conservatories". In March 2015 he sets a new speed record performing N. Rimsky-Korsakov’s "The Flight of the Bumblebee" in just fifty seconds. In May 2016 he won the first prize and the special prize "Paganini" at the International Violin Competition “Andrea Postacchini” in Fermo in its category. The same year he won the first Italian edition of “Prodigi”, talent show devoted to classical music and broadcasted by Italian national channel “Rai Uno”. He currently plays a 1710 Carlo Giuseppe Testori violin, granted by the Milan’s “Pro Canale” foundation.
