Geunpyo Park was born on January 22, 1998, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. She began her first piano lessons at the age of seven. From 2013 to 2016, she studied at Sunhwa Arts High School. After graduating, she pursued her bachelor's degree under Prof. Yong-ran Han at Yonsei University. During her studies, which she completed with outstanding grades, she was supported by a scholarship. After earning her degree, she moved to Germany and is currently continuing her master's studies under Prof. Jacob Leuschner at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold.

Geunpyo Park has won first prizes in numerous competitions and university contests in Korea, including the Liszt Competition in Korea, the Korean Young Artists Competition, and the Korean-American Music Supporters’ Association Competition.

She has given recitals at the Cosmos Arts Hall and the Ensemblian Hall. She has also participated in concerts featuring complete cycles of Beethoven sonatas, Rachmaninoff preludes, Chopin/Godowsky études, and all Schubert/Liszt song transcriptions.

In Detmold, she has performed multiple times in the Pianissimo series at the Sommertheater and the Brahms-Saal. Additionally, Geunpyo Park has taken part in several masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Konrad Elser, Markus Bellheim, Pascal Devoyon, Kaya Han, Peter Ovtcharov, Patrick O’Byrne, and Giuseppe Mariotti. She has also attended summer music academies, including "for the Piano" and the Palazzo Ricci in Montepulciano, where she performed.
