Dimitri Malignan was born in Paris in 1998. He is the grandson of the Romanian composer and theater artist Henry Malineanu, and it is natural that he started playing the piano at the age of 5. 
Since 2011, he has been a pupil of Ludmila Berlinskaia at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris  “  A.Cortot  ” . In April 2017, at the age of 19, he won the "  Prix ​​Cortot", the highest distinction awarded by the School, which crowns the holder of the Superior Diploma of Piano Concertiste obtained unanimously with the congratulations of the jury. 
Dimitri continues . parallel his apprenticeship at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague with Naum Grubert 
He has won more than 20 international competitions, including: the Contest "Mihail Jora ” , Bucharest, Romania (2016, 1st Prize); the “ Anton Garcia-Abri! » , Teruel, Spain (2011, 1st Prize); the “ Bradshaw & Buono ” Competition , New York, United States (2010, 2nd Prize); the Osaka Competition, Japan (2009, 3rd Prize). 
Dimitri has performed at festivals in France such as Nohant Festival Chopin, Les Nuits du Piano, La Clé des Portes, Les Nuits musicales du Rouergue, Un Piano sous les trees, but also in Russia at the National Tchaikovsky Museum in Klin.
