Born in Hungary, Bertalan Ablonczy received his first piano lessons at the age of 6 and gave his first concert in Tampere (Finland) at the age of 8. He began studying organ at the conservatory in Miskolc and continued at the University of Music in Debrecen with Prof. Dezső Karasszon and Prof. Szilárd Kovács, where he earned his diploma as a classical organist in 2012. In 2014, he began his master's studies in the organ class of Prof. Martin Haselböck at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, graduating with honors in 2019.
As an organist, pianist, and harpsichordist, he has performed both as a soloist and as a chamber music partner with various orchestras and ensembles in Hungary and Austria. The most notable of these are the Vienna Academy Orchestra and the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra Debrecen.
