Antoine Thévoz

Antoine Thévoz is a violist, born and raised in Lausanne, Switzerland. After four years of study with Miguel da Silva at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, he began his bachelor’s degree with Alexander Zemtsov at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne. Since this year, he has been studying with Thomas Selditz at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna as part of the Erasmus exchange program.
Antoine is an award winner of national competitions as both a soloist and chamber musician. He currently serves as second principal viola of the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra and was principal violist of the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra in 2022.
Antoine is particularly passionate about chamber music and regularly participates in masterclasses with renowned professors such as Kim Kashkashian and Nobuko Imai.
