Yoo Kyung Kang

Yookyung Kang began the violin when she was 4 and was inspired by Christian hymns and music through her parents’ faith. When she was 6 she entered the preparatory school for the Korean National University of Arts and since then she has performed many times on the international stage and in competitions, won the Grand Prize at the KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) and Kepco (Korea Electric Power Corporation) Music Competitions – 2019, 2nd Prize at the 41st JoongAng Music Concours – 2015, 2nd Prize and the Special Prize of Virtuoso at the 14th Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition in Germany – 2011
