Stepan Armasar

Stepan is born in Moscow and is currently studying orchestral and operatic conducting at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, in St. Petersburg  under Prof. Peter Gribanov. He also studied accordion at the Secondary Special Music School of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory.

He has conducted the Saint Petersburg Conservatory Symphony Orchestra in symphonic and operatic repertoire. His guest conducting experience includes: Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic, Concert Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory, FestivalOrchestra (with members of Musicaeterna and the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic), Karaganda Philharmonic Orchestra (Kazakhstan), State Orchestra “Klassika”, Chamber Orchestra of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory.

He currently serves as Assistant Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra at the Secondary Special Music School of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory.
