Simonas Poška is the youngest pianist in the academy and despite his young age has already won prizes in numerous competitions, winning his first prize at the age of 12. He recently won the Grand Prix at the international piano competition "Music without Borders" in Druskininkai and 2nd prize at the international competition for young pianists in Riga, 2nd prize in the Piano category at the International M. K. Ciurlionis Piano and Organ Competition in 2023 (Lithuanian International Professional Music Competitions).
In 2014, he made his debut with the VDU Chamber Orchestra, performing J. S. Bach's Piano Concerto in F minor. He is currently studying with Eglė Jurkevičiūtė at the Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis National School of Arts in Vilnius. The young pianist was invited to FEUERWERK as a prizewinner of the Klaipėda Piano Masters (KPM) and the Riga Piano Competition.
