Seunghyun Lee performed Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Yonsei Symphony Orchestra with great success. In 2014 he was invited by Steinway to the Young-Rising Star Series.
He won the 3rd prize at the Seoul Intl. Music Competition 2020/21 and was a semi-finalist at the Isang Yun International Competition 2016, the Sendai International Competition 2016 and the Seoul International Music Competition 2017. At the Concours International de Piano d'Epinal in France, he received the 3rd prize and the audience prize. He won an honorary award at the 57th Prague Spring Competition.
He has attended master classes with Jean-Claude van den Eynden, Bernd Goetzke, Pavel Gililov, Peter Lang, Claudio Martinez Mehner, Enrico Pace and Ian Fountain. He currently lives in Berlin, where he is studying with the renowned pianist Kirill Gerstein at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy.
