SeongYeon Kong began learning percussion at the age of 11. She has had the opportunity to perform in various notable projects and has won several prizes in percussion competitions, including The World Marimba Competition 2022 in Stuttgart and the International Percussion Competition 2016 in Northwestern. She won the 2nd prize at the TROMP International Percussion Competition Eindhoven in 2024.
