Leonardo Merlini

Born in 2003, in Piombino, Leonardo Merlini began studying the piano at the age of five under the guidance of Maestro Alessandro Gagliardi. From an early age he has been a winner in various competitions, including the “Riveria Etrusca” and the “J.S. Bach”. In 2017 he won the 2nd Prize in the Steinway competition in Verona and in 2018 he obtained a scholarship to attend the masterclasses of the M° Aquiles delle Vigne.Among the most important awards: the Maria Giubilei Prize, the Humberto Quagliata Prize, the Enrico Galletta Prize and the Sergio Cafaro Award.
