Started playing violin at the age of 3 and trombone at the age of 9. After graduating from Toho Second High School attached to Toho College of Music, he entered the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts. Gold Prize in the 11th Japan Junior Wind and Percussion Competition, Gold Prize in the Solo Division of the Japan School Ensemble Contest Solo & Ensemble Contest, 2nd Prize in the High School Division of the 24th Japan Classical Music Competition for Trombone, 3rd Prize in the 22nd Trombone Competition. Studied trombone under Teruo Yabuuchi, Satoshi Komuro, Shinji Koga, Hiroshi Ishikawa, and Hiroyuki Kurogane. He has attended master classes and private lessons with Paul Milner and Uwe Fussel. He won the first prize at the Jeju International Brass competition at the category Bass Trombone in 2022.
