The soprano Isabel Weller studied singing with Prof. Regina Kabis-Elsner at the Freiburg University of Music and completed her master’s degree there in summer 2021. To deepen her vocal training, she is currently studying with Prof. Christian Elsner and Prof. Hartmut Höll at the Karlsruhe University of Music. At the 1st Baden-Württemberg Opera School Meeting in 2019, she embodied the leading role in the Musiktheater Schau Mich An , a world premiere at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, with performances at the Wilhelma Theater Stuttgart and the Stadttheater Freiburg. In 2020 she was on stage in the main role of Amelia in the university  production Amelia goes to the Ball  by Gian Carlo Menotti. She can regularly be heard as a soloist in concerts and oratorios, so she interpreted the soprano part in Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy 's Paulus , sang Gioachino Rossini's Petite messe solennelle , Georg Friedrich Handel's Messiah  and the  Christmas Oratorio  by Johann Sebastian Bach. At the European Church Music Festival in Schwäbisch Gmünd, she took part in the Young Talents Forum. As part of her studies, Isabel Weller sang in the Kurhaus Baden-Baden with the local Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert of the Baden-Baden Opera Academy. In September 2021, Isabel Weller received third prize at the Cologne International Music Competition and was a soloist at the prizewinners' concert with the WDR Funkhausorchester. In 2018 she won the 24th International Louis Spohr Competition in Kassel and in 2020 she reached the 1st final round of the National Singing Competition in Berlin.
