21-year old pianist Giorgio Lazzari has already performed, both as soloist and with orchestra, in many Italian and European venues, as well as winning prizes in national and international competitions. He is appreciated especially in his interpretation of the German and Austrian classics, as well as in chamber music. He obtained the bachelor degree from the Conservatorio Gaetano Donizetti in Bergamo in 2019 with top marks. Currently he is at the second year of master studies with Maria Grazia Bellocchio. Last year he received a scholarship from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein, and participated in the Music Experience Weeks and activities offered by the Academy. He has taken part in piano and chamber music masterclass with Pavel Gililov, Salvatore Accardo, Filippo Gorini and Marc Bouchkov as well as in masterclasses with different contemporary composers. At the renowned Robert Schumann Competition in Düsseldorf, he was awarded 1st prize in his age group by the jury in October 2021 and already won two special prizes, for the best interpretations of a work by R. Schumann and of the work by M. Trojahn.
