Russian Bass-Baritone Dmitry Cheblykov began singing at an early age and pursued his musical studies at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory where he got his master’s degree in Vocal Performance (2017). During his years studying, he was awarded 1st prize at the Alexey Ivanov International Vocal Competition (2015) and 2nd prize at the Nadezhda Obukhova Russian National Competition (2016). In 2017 he became a member of the Young Artist Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre. In 2021 he was awarded 1st prize at the Elena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Singers, and 3rd prize at Operalia.

Dmitry has sung many roles throughout his studies and career, including Marcello La bohème, Marco Gianni Schicchi, Giorgio La Traviata, title role Eugene Onegin, Morales Carmen, Alidoro La Cenerentola, Lightman The Story of Kai and Gerda and most recently Mizghir The Snow Maiden. He made his international stage debut at Teatro Rossini in 2019 performing as Lord Sidney Il viaggio a Reims during the Rossini Festival.
