Chelsea Marilyn Zurflüh, Swiss soprano grew up in Pieterlen. She has been a member of the International Opera Studio in Zurich since September 2021 and has already appeared on the stage of the Opera House as Barbarina in "Le Nozze di Figaro," Zaida in "Il Turco in Italia," Soprano One in "Jakob Lenz," Atalanta in "Serse" and more.
Other engagements have taken the Swiss singer to the the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Tonhalle Zurich.

Chelsea is a laureate of numerous vocal competitions. These include second prize at the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg since February 2023 and second prize and audience award at the prestigious Antonio Cesti Competition in Innsbruck, Austria in August 2022.
She is also a first place winner of the Marianne & Curt Diennemann Foundation Music Competition, a study prize winner of the Migros Culture Percentage Singing Competition, the Kiefer-Hablitzel/Göhner Music Competition and, since May 2021, first place winner of the Elvirissima Singing Competition.

In June 2021 Chelsea Zurflüh completed her Master of Arts degree with Prof. Barbara Locher at the "Hochschule der Künste Bern/Schweizer Opernstudio Biel" in the course "Specialized Music Performance Opera" with the highest grade "Excellent".
